is with great pleasure that Valet Travel introduces its Sikkim & Bhutan
spring program for 2006 to be escorted by its Asian expert, Camille Carroll.
This 17 day adventure is offered for those who can travel during the colder
winter season when the temperatures reach freezing at night and the days
are sunny and in the mid 60's. Words cannot describe the truly spiritual
experience that is Bhutan...a country recently opened to the outside world
and continues to hold on to its culture and its strong Buddhist beliefs.
The tour will focus on the Bhutanese people, their history, culture, arts
& crafts, and religion. We will participate in the Trongsa festival
where we can view the spectacular masked dances that are only performed
at festival times. Unlike most tours, our tour to Sikkim & Bhutan it comes with some restrictions and stricter rules for booking. It is important to know that the royal government's policy of cautious modernization dictates the number of visitors allowed into Bhutan in any given year. The government regulations provide for a fixed daily rate which covers such expenses as hotels, meals, transportation, guides and drivers and all sightseeing. We have chosen our Bhutanese tour operator with careful thought and they have proven to be the best at handling our needs. The set fee must be paid in advance to ensure that we are able to secure our flights into the country and get the best of accommodations throughout our tour. This is why we suggest that if you want to participate in our tour you must act early. Nothing is guaranteed by our Bhutanese hosts until the government gives them permission to confirm the itinerary. Tour Escorts Chencho Tshering & Camille Carroll | ||
