| Costs
of obtaining passports(s), any inoculations, foreign airport departure taxes,
excess baggage costs, personal insurance, gratuities to drivers and guides, services
not specifically indicated in the itinerary, all personal items such as sundries,
telephone calls, laundry, room services and beverages (other than coffee and tea
with meals). Visas - Cost of Visas for India and Bhutan. Passport must be vallid for 6 months beyond the last day of the tour. | |||||
| Deposits and Final Payments: | |||||
| A $500.00 per person deposit is required at time of booking. Final payment is due 90 days prior to departure. | |||||
| Cancellations: | |||||
| All
cancellations must be received in writing. For cancellations received prior to
90 days before departure, deposits are refundable less a $200.00 per person administration
fee. After 90 days the Bhutan deposit is non-refundable. Airfares may involve
additional penalties. CANCELLATION INSURANCE IS AVAILABLE AND STRONGLY RECOMMENDED. | |||||
| Airfare and Airline Ticketing: | |||||
| The trans-Pacific airfare is based on best available economy class airfares on Thai International Airlines. Connecting airfare from other gateways may require air add-ons. Those wishing not to use the group airfare will receive a credit of $770.00, but you will be responsible for hotel costs in Bangkok. Once tickets have been issued, a minimum penalty of $150.00 will be charged for any changes. Business class upgrades available on Thai Airways at an additional cost. | |||||

| A passport is required, valid for 6 months beyond your tour departure date. A visa is required for Bhutan and India. | |||||
| Health Advisories: | |||||
| Presently, no inoculations are required for travel to Bhutan and Thailand. There are recommended inoculations such as Polio, Hepatitis, Typhoid and Malaria. Altitude may be a concern to some travelers. The average altitude in Bhutan is 8500 ft.. Please consult your physician for your specific needs. Further information can be obtained from the U.S. Public Health Quarantine Station, Los Angeles at 310-215-2365, and/or the Center for Disease Control at 404-639-2572. | |||||
| Insurance: | |||||
| Insurance coverage that will cover both cancellation and interruption as well as medical evacuation is available and strongly recommended. You will be traveling in third world countries where medical treatment is not of the quality we are used to in the United States. In this situation medical evacuation coverage is essential. Our recommended travel insurance will include coverage for pre-existing medical conditions of the traveler and immediate family if it is purchased within seven days of making your deposit. | |||||
| Responsibilities: | |||||
| Valet
Travel and its staff (hereafter referred to as the "Tour Operator")
acts only as agent for the owners and/or contractors providing means of transportation,
accommodations, and/or other services described in the itinerary. All tickets,
exchange orders, and/or vouchers or other travel documents issued for tour services
are subject to any and all conditions under which such means of transportation,
accommodations and/or other services are offered or provided and to current tariffs,
terms and conditions under which the services are provided, and by the laws of
the countries in which the services are provided, and by the laws of the countries
in which services are rendered. By the acceptance of vouchers, contracts and tickets
the participant agrees to the forgoing and also agrees that the Tour Operator
shall not be or become liable or responsible in any way whatsoever in connection
with any loss, injury, and/or damage to person, property or otherwise in connection
with any accommodation, transportation or other services resulting directly or
indirectly from any acts of God, dangers incident to wildlife areas, the sea,
by fire, breakdown of machinery or equipment, government or other authorities,
actual or intended wars (whether declared or not), hostilities, civil disturbances,
strikes, riots, criminal activity, health quarantines, medical or customs regulations,
defaults, delays or cancellation of or changes in itinerary, over-booking of accommodations
or any causes beyond the control of the Tour Operator, or for any loss or damage
resulting from insufficient or improperly issued passports, visa or other documents,
and that the Tour Operator shall not be or become liable or responsible for any
additional expense or liability sustained or incurred by participants as a result
of any of the forgoing causes. The Tour Operator reserves the right, at any time, to make alterations or substitutions in the itinerary deemed necessary and desirable; to refuse to accept or retain any person as a member of the tour at any time; to pass on to tour members any expenditures occasioned by delays or events beyond its control; to make adjustments to rates, as necessary, at any time, in case of variations in the costs of service provided in the tour. The Tour Operator reserves the right to cancel services at any time prior to departure, in which case a full refund will constitute full settlement to the participant. The Tour Operator is not responsible nor liable for defaults of those not directly under its control. The issuance and acceptance of tour documents by the participant shall be deemed consent to all of the above. Top |
